Accommodation:

We expect there will be enough accomodation on site to enable everyone who wants a room to be allocated one, but allocation will be made on a 'first come first served basis'. To assist us to manage this aspect of the weddding, can we ask you to complete the Wedding Guest Form as soon as possible (by 21 March if possible) so that we can understand demand and manage allocation. Once we receive your response we will be able to ensure the Venue contacts you to complete the booking. 

Rooms are priced at £150 per couple and £75 for a single. 

We do have some family rooms available, so please do let us know if this type of room would be best for you.

Access:

The house will be open from 11:00 am on the morning of the wedding. If you do get there early, you can make use of the numerous sitting rooms to relax in. Teas, coffee and light refreshments will be available.

Check-in:

For those who have booked a room, check-in is from 15:00. 

If you want to check-in at the Venue before the wedding ceremony, you can leave your bags with reception. If you ask reception to take your bags to your room, they will be available in your room once you have checked-in and got your key(after 15:00). There will be plenty of time during the Drinks Reception (15:30 - 17:30) for you to check-in if you decide to go to the Church first (which is the option we would recommend).

Changing facilities:

For those wanting to change at the Venue before the church ceremony, although we cannot guarantee it, as it is dependent upon the number of guests wishing to stay at the Venue on the night of the wedding, there should be a room available in the main building which can be used for this purpose. 

Car parking:

The Venue has sufficient parking on site for all guests. Parking at the Venue is free. Guests staying externally can leave their cars overnight, however can we kindly ask that they be picked up by 11:00 the following day.

Travel to the Church:

Please be aware the distance between the Venue and the Church is approximately 10 miles. This trip takes between 35-45 minutes without traffic.  Roads can get busy in Devon during the summer months. 

If you do not have a car and would like to see if you can get a lift from another guest to and fro the Church, please let us know using the Contact form and we will see what can be arranged. Obviously taxis are an option, although probably quite expensive. We have provided a link to relevant companies in the Local Information page.
